Artistic Criteria
- GFTF is committed to excellent, authentic storytelling. We encourage narratives in all forms and on all subjects. Special consideration will be given to scripts that lend themselves to sustainable production practices, and/or engage problems of social, economic, and environmental sustainability.
- GFTF accepts musicals, full length, one act, immersive theatre, adaptations, and non-traditional experimental scripts.
Basic Requirements
- Previously un-produced. GFTF considers a play to have been “unproduced” when actors are on book and there was minimal staging (scenery, costumes, and lighting), and have not previously received press coverage. Director, actors, and technicians either volunteered their time or received a small stipend.
- Maximum of eight actors; doubling is permitted, provided a doubling plan is included with the cast list.
- Submitting author(s) are the sole owner of script copyright.
- Musicals must submit full score.
